Methoxy Propyl Acetate (PMA), or 1-Methoxy-2-Propanol Acetate, has the formula C6H12O3 and presents as a liquid. PMA is free from colour but carries a sweet smell, resembling an ether odour. The liquid is mediumly solvable with water and is most commonly used as a solvent in the manufacturing of coating, cleaners and ink.
