(Glacial) Acrylic Acid, also known as IUPAC or Propenoic Acid, has CH₂=CHCOOH as its molecular formula. IUPAC comes in a liquid state, is free from color, and has a tart odor. Acrylic Acid is the least complex of the unsaturated carboxylic acids, containing a vinyl group attached to a carboxylic acid terminus. The acid can be mixed with Alcohols, Ethers, water, and Chloroform. It is primarily used in the painting and coating industry, which are the industries we sell to most.
