The natural compound Butyl di glycol is also known as Diethylene glycol and butyl ether (2-(2-Butoxyethoxy)ethanol). It is one of various glycol ether solvents. BDG is a liquid without colour, carries barely any odour and has a high boiling point. Butyl di glycol is commonly used in the chemical industry as a solvent in brewing chemicals, textile processing, and household detergents.
