Slide for more packaging options

Mono Ethylene glycol, abbreviated as MEG, is also called Ethane-1,2-diol. It is a natural compound, a viscous liquid and has the formula (CH2OH)2. Even though MEG does not have any smell or colour, it does have a sweet taste. The sweet-tasting compound is used as a raw material in producing polyester fibres and as an antifreeze force.

Rebain utilises Mono Ethylene Glycol primarily as an antifreeze agent in heat-transfer liquids and coolants. Within heat-transferring, MEG is the fluid that heats through the use of a geothermal heat pump. Moreover, the coolants utilised in air conditioners and cars that need to cool below freezing temperature or have the air handlers outside make use of Mono Ethylene Glycol.

Rebain International is specialises in the application of MEG as an antifreeze force. We can offer final products like Mono Ethylene Glycol and other products based on Glycols, such as Mono Propylene Glycol.
