Methoxy Propyl Acetate (PMA), or 1-Methoxy-2-Propanol Acetate, has the formula C6H12O3 and is a liquid. PMA is free from color but has a sweet, ether-like smell. It is mediumly solvable with water and is most commonly used as a solvent in the manufacturing of coatings, cleaners, and ink.
