Nitric Acid, Aqua Fortis or Spirit of Niter has the formula HNO3 and is a pure, colour-free compound. However, over time, the compound could acquire a yellow colour because of nitrogen and water oxides decomposition. Nitric Acid is a mineral and is a highly corrosive acid. Aqua Fortis is frequently used in the production of fertilisers. We primarily market Spirit of Niter that has a density of 68% in water.
