Diacetone alcohol, abbreviated to DAA, is a synthetic compound. The fluid is often a chemical intermediate to create other compounds. The formula is CH3C(O)CH2C(OH)(CH3)2, and it is very pure. Moreover, DAA is an oxygenated solvent, finds its roots in Acetone and is also often used as a solvent.
