Xylol, also known as Xylene or Dimethylbenzene, is referred to as a combination of the three isomers of Dimethylbenzene. All compounds are free from colour but are flammable. Each of the compounds has a central benzene ring and has two methyl groups connected. The molecular formula is (CH3)2C6H4. As the combinations can differ, the value differs, but some are of great industrial value. The variety is often referred to as Xylene or Xylenes.
Moreover, there are three conceivable Xylene isomers: m-xylene, p-xylene and o=xylene.
