Cyclohexanone is a biological compound of which the molecules have a ketone functional group that consists of six-carbon cyclic molecules. The molecular formula is (CH2)5CO. Even though Cyclohexanone is an oil-free from colour, the product attains a yellow colour over time. The smell is similar to Acetone and dissolves slightly in water but is miscible with typical biological solvents. The primary use of this product is as a harbinger to nylon.
